Frequently asked questions.
How can I watch POTATO?
Our first phase of release will be through distribution of POTATO through community screenings and premieres. The second phase (fall 2025) will provide online distribution to allow viewing POTATO from the comfort of your home.
Is POTATO family-friendly?
You betcha! In fact, its mom produced and approved. One of the biggest compliments we get is how fun and engaging POTATO is for families.
Why isn’t POTATO on YouTube for free?
Because if you’re good at something, don’t give it away for free. Kidding, not kidding.
POTATO is about community. It took money and loads of energy to create. While YouTube provides ease of access for “everyone” it’s not helpful for us to give it away for free. Where’s the fun in that!
We need community support to distribute it fairly. We designed this film as a way to create a sense of belonging and connection by bringing people together.
After we’ve gotten it across Idaho and 1,000,000 Idahoans have seen it, then we’ll consider tossing it on YouTube—even though that feels like we’d be putting it out to pasture.
Why did you make this film?
Simply, to spread more joy, fun and love in (and about) Idaho. This film was born as an expression of gratitude and celebration for Idaho’s land, people, and communities. Aren’t you glad we made it? Because we are.
How can I support POTATO?
Thank you for asking! The best thing you can do support us by watching POTATO once it’s available—and spreading the word to your friends and family. This supports our mission to create more fun projects like POTATO while investing in moms—the caring bridge-builders.
